Breakfast Creek Piling and Temporary Jetty, QLD

As part of the Cross River Rail project, a new rail bridge over Breakfast Creek is being constructed to support Brisbane’s 10.2km underground rail expansion. This critical infrastructure will enhance public transport connectivity and capacity, improving the city’s rail network for future growth.

Project Scope:

  • Breakfast Creek Rail Bridge:

    • 13 cast in place piles (1,500mm diameter)

    • 8 cast in place piles (1,800mm diameter)

    • 8 cast in place piles (1,200mm diameter)

  • Temporary Jetty Construction

Project Value:

  • Approximately $3,600,000

Equipment:

  • BG28V Piling Rig

  • M1200 Crane

  • 8T Excavator

  • ICE 58B Vibrator

Working with CPB Contractors Pty Limited, Caporn Piling provided specialist foundation works for the Breakfast Creek Rail Bridge, ensuring a strong and stable structure as part of this transformational rail project.
