Temporary Access Bridges

Caporn Piling has the expertise and equipment to design and construct heavy-capacity temporary access bridges, engineered to safely support loads of up to 400 tonnes. Our custom-built configurations cater to a variety of access needs, ensuring safe and efficient solutions for any project.

We have successfully installed temporary access bridges in deep and shallow water marine environments, as well as on challenging land-based terrains, including sloping rock faces.

Temporary Works Structures

We provide innovative and robust solutions for complex construction challenges, particularly in temporary works over water. Our team specialises in the design and construction of temporary structures that meet strict client and engineering requirements.

A standout example is our temporary steel piers, designed and constructed in a marine environment to support the launch of a 200m-long unsupported main span—the longest single clear-span shared path bridge in the Southern Hemisphere. This project featured Australia’s first 'node-by-node' incremental bridge launch methodology, showcasing our commitment to cutting-edge engineering solutions.

All Temporary Works Structures are third-party RPEQ certified, ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards.
