Our Down the Hole (DTH) Hammer drilling is a proven method for penetrating high to extremely high-strength rock formations (100+ MPa) with precision and efficiency.

Cluster DTH Hammer

Ideal for large-diameter drilling (900mm to 2400mm), Cluster Drilling uses multiple DTH hammers within a steel cannister, activated by high-pressure air to crush rock and quickly remove cuttings. This method is suitable for deep foundation projects in extremely hard rock conditions.

Full-Face DTH Hammer

Designed for smaller-diameter applications (150mm to 750mm), Full-Face DTH Hammers use a single high-powered hammer to drill through hard rock. Larger diameters may be possible, but Cluster Drilling is typically preferred for sizes above 750mm.

With extensive experience in DTH hammer drilling, Caporn Piling delivers efficient and precise rock penetration solutions for infrastructure, mining, and deep foundation projects.
