Wambo Ventilation Shaft, NSW

The Wambo Mine is a major open-cut and underground coal mining operation in regional NSW. Following a ground failure in a previously constructed shaft, a new upcast shaft was required to support long-term (LOM) ventilation, ensuring continued safe and efficient mining operations.
