Located in Sydney’s inner south, this 6,200-square-metre green space celebrates the area’s rich industrial history, providing a vital gathering place for the 60,000 residents of the Green Square development.
Project Scope
Caporn Piling’s work involved:
708 CMC piles (450mm diameter, to 15m depth).
196 CFA piles (450mm diameter, to 15m depth).
42 CFA piles (900mm diameter, to 15m depth).
Pulse Echo Integrity Testing on up to 15% of piles.
2 static load tests to 590kN to ensure structural performance.
Equipment Utilized
2 x Bauer BG28V piling rigs for precision piling.
1 x Manitowoc M8500 crawler crane for heavy lifting.
2 track-mounted concrete line pumps for seamless concrete delivery.
14T Excavator for site support and preparation.
