The upgrade involved transforming the existing highway into a four-lane divided arterial road and constructing a new road bridge over the Main Northern Rail Line to replace the existing structure.

Project Scope

Retaining Wall Piles:

  • 66 bored piles (600mm and 750mm diameter, up to 9m deep).

Bridge Piles:

  • 78 permanent cased bored piles (900mm, 1050mm, and 1200mm diameter, up to 27m deep).

Equipment Utilized

  • Soiltek S60 Low Headroom rig for restricted space piling.

  • Bauer BG20 and Bauer BG28 rigs for precision piling operations.

  • Crawler Cranes:

    • 40T Sennebogen for lighter lifts.

    • 80T Manitowoc for larger lifting requirements.

  • ICE 58B Vibrator for casing installation.
